Aberaam Varma was born on February 3, 1989, in Khammam, Telangana. His family calls him Gunnu. Abe's childhood was spent mostly in Vijayawada under the care of his grandparents'. He was a child prodigy but was always inclined towards cricket and arts as he believed that its the best form of an expression. He got landed into the world of cinema when he was doing his engineering. He never went to college after first year but used to sit at home and watch 2-5 films a day. He got acquainted to world cinema and got fascinated by it. He left to USA and did his theatre and Masters in Management from Florida State University. Later he worked for couple of MFA films while working in USA for few Forbes 100 companies. He came back to India and learned Telugu language and diction from the famous Devadas Kanakala's Film and Television Institute of AP. He did few gigs in Modelling ramp shows and print media commercials. In the following year he was awarded Mr. Andhra Pradesh in 2013, after which he changed his name (the spelling) from Abhiram. Director Teja spotted him in the auditions and finalized him for an important antagonist role in his film Hora Hori and later another prodigy Phanindra Narsetti roped him in his much awaited debut, Manu in 2018.
