Anushka was born on 7 November 1981 as Sweety Shetty in Puttur, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She currently resides in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Her nickname is Mac. She is well-known for her acting skills and gave numerous hit films. In 2011, she was honoured with the Kalaimamani Award by Tamil Nadu State Government.
