David Koplan

David Koplan is an American Film Producer. Currently, Koplan is a Producer on the feature film entitled Papillon, which stars Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim, Crimson Peak) with principal photography commencing in the fall of 2016. He previously served as an Executive Producer on the huge hit entitled Daddy's Home directed by Sean Anders (Horrible Bosses 2, That's My Boy) and written by Sean Anders, John Morris (We're The Millers, Mr. Popper's Penguins) and Brian Burns (Blue Bloods, Entourage). The film stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Linda Cardellini, and it was released by Paramount Pictures on Christmas Day 2015. Koplan also previously served as Executive Producer on the successful 2014, Dumb and Dumber To written and directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber, There's Something about Mary). The film was released by Universal Pictures and starred Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. Also, releasing in 2014, Koplan served as Executive Producer on The Rewrite written and directed by Marc Lawrence (Two Weeks Notice, Music & Lyrics) and starred Hugh Grant and Marisa Tomei.
