John Ortiz
John Ortiz is an American actor and artistic director who co-founded the LAByrinth Theater Company. He made his debut as an actor in the movie Carlito's Way (1993) essaying the role of a young Al Pacino. He has since then appeared in movies such as Amistad (1997), Before Night Falls (2000), Miami Vice (2006), American Gangster (2007), and Jack Goes Boating (2010). His television credits include Law & Order, Riot (1997), The Job (2001 – '02), Clubhouse (2004 – '05), and Togetherness (2015). His 2017 release includes the movie Going in Style directed by Zach Braff.
