Kalanithi Maran is an Indian media entrepreneur and the chairman and managing director of Sun Group, which is the most profitable Television network in India and acquired Spice Jet airlines. He has produced one of the most successful movie, Enthiran - The Robot under the banner Sun Pictures. By 2010, he was the 17th richest Indian and is the highest paid businessman in India. He has won Young Businessman awards from CNBC and ERNST & Young.
