Laurie Metcalf

Three-time Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Laurie Metcalf's artistic career spans over four decades, and across stage, television and cinema. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the neurotic Jackie Harris in the popular 90s sitcom Roseanne (1988-1997), which earned her three back-to-back Emmy Awards between 1992 and 1994. 

Metcalf started out in theatre in the 1970s, and has continued to be active on stage throughout her career despite enjoying considerable success on film and television. She has also received multiple Tony Award nominations, winning one for her performance in A Doll's House, Part 2 (2017); and three Obie Awards for her work Off-Broadway. The actress' feature film debut came with an uncredited role in the comedy A Wedding (1978), and she has since appeared in several films,
