Ritesh Shah
Best known for penning down the story, screenplay, and dialogues of the critically acclaimed courtroom drama social thriller Pink, Ritesh Shah is an Indian writer who was born and raised in Anantnag, Kashmir. While is Anantnag, he worked at the backstage in plays. It was upon a friend's advice that he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in writing. His first gig as a writer came with Sahara One's serial Kagaar.
Primarily a dialogue writer, Ritesh's first feature film was Sujoy Ghosh's Home Delivery in 2005. Next, he was associated with the Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer romantic comedy-drama Namastey London. Making his debut as a story writer, Ritesh collaborated once again with Sujoy Ghosh on the 2009 adventure film Aladin, starring Riteish Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandez.
