STORY
: Born a conman, Ashu (Ashutosh Kaushik) manages to navigate through the different stages of his life by means of deceit, but his fanaticismtowards self-proclaimed Godman (Zakir Hussain) drags him into the world of fake currency

REVIEW
: A constant nagger of a wife Pallavi (Hrishita Bhatt) pesters Ashu to land a real job instead of going about conning people. And, after a handful of grave misunderstandings, gives him an ultimatum to get his act together or else she will sever all ties with him for life. A hurt and anxious, Ashu turn to his guru ji for better luck and life, and his life takes an unexpected turn which basically forms the crux of this painfully long senseless comedy.
While the idea of catching bootleggers heavily invested in the world of fake currency is a noble thought, one simply cannot ignore the senselessness and lazy writing of ‘Chal Jaa Bapu’. Sure there were a few hilarious punchlines thrown in at fits and starts, but sans that, there is no real reason for us to shell out money for this no-brainer.

The actors have either over or under acted, the shoddy camerawork is too hard to ignore and the length of this film can put even an insomniac into deep sleep. All in all, please don’t make movies like 'Chal Jaa Bapu’ unless you can tell the difference between a drama project in school and a full-fledged Bollywood Hindi feature film.
