That romance is the genre of the movie is quite evident from its title. It also gives a hint about the characteristics of the hero and heroine of this love tale – Gowtham (Harish Kalyan) is similar to a sharp-edged spade – looks polished, but quite dangerous if not handled properly, and Tara (Shilpa Manjunath) is full of heart and is in love with her life. Gowtham, who is still reeling from a troubled childhood, suffers from anger management issue. Though his father and friends are there to take care of him, he always feels the absence of someone special in his life. He keeps meeting Tara in several unexpected circumstances, and both of them realise after a certain point that they are madly in love with each other.

However, Tara has a tough time convincing her parents to call off the engagement with her fiancé. But what makes things more worse for her is the aggressive and over possessive behaviour of Gowtham. Both of them forgive each other after their petty fights though, at point, one among them understands that the relationship is not going to work. Will they be able to lead a life together?

The film has tried to break a few regular clichés we see often in romantic movies in Kollywood. Interestingly, the female lead character is not mere a person for the male lead to fall in love at first sight or follow annoyingly on streets. She has an opinion on everything – she initiates lovemaking sessions, she boldly says “you are hurting me” when her lover behaves rudely, and doesn’t mind saying “I’m done with you” to his face multiple times when she feels her self-respect is taken for granted.
