Kate Fuller is assigned to the murder of a man who has seemingly been strangled in his sleep by his wife and the only witness is their eight-year-old daughter, Sophie. As Kate digs into the mystery of an ancient demon which kills people in their sleep. Mara is another film that despite a very talented lead? fails short on both expectations and to the storyline it tries to tell it's viewers. It's cheap and stuffed with cliches and despite Olga's involvement and her basically trying again and again to do something with it? It's your typical and very generic horror film.
