On its third Sunday, the Shankar-directed sci-fi film maintained a strong grip as it added Rs 2.75 crore more to its kitty. After an 18-day run at the box-office, its total collection stands at a monumental Rs 183.75 crore. In its third weekend, the VFX wonder fetched a handsome Rs 6 crore, which speaks volumes about its acceptance among the audience.
2.0 collected Rs 20.25 crore on its opening day. Despite a mediocre start, the film saw excellent growth over the first weekend and went on to pack a hefty total of over Rs 97 crore. In the forthcoming days, the film managed to hold its own to reach where it is. The weekends, of course, boosted its earnings.
