Top producer Dil Raju has been finding it tough to find the lead actor for the remake of Tamil blockbuster 96. Though he acquired the remake rights without any difficulty, the pre-production work of the remake has been going on snail pace as the lead actor is not finalized. After Allu Arjun, Nani and Sharwanand rejected the offer, Dil Raju had all his hopes on Gopichand.
There were talks that Gopichand who is struggling for success will team up with Dil Raju for sure. But the actor rejected the offer recently and revealed it to Raju. Trisha has been roped in as the female lead and Prem Kumar who directed the original will direct 96 remake. We have to wait to see who will play the lead role in the remake.
